Termite

Termites are a type of insect that is easy to find. Apart from that, termites are also often considered as pests that damage objects inside the house which are usually made of wood. Therefore, termites are often disliked by some people. Termites really like places that are dark and damp but still have a warm temperature, so it's no surprise that termites often live inside wood or near the ground surface. Termites live in dark places because termites cannot tolerate light.

  • Although rare, some termite species can spread diseases and allergens that have the potential to harm human health.
  • Termites can also cause depletion of valuable wood resources because they eat wood quickly.
  • Agriculture and other industries can experience reduced productivity due to damage and disturbance caused by termites.
  • Uncontrolled termite populations can cause ecological changes in an environment, especially in forest and agricultural land ecosystems.
  • Termites can damage agricultural plants, including roots, stems and other parts, resulting in reduced crop yields.

HOW TO CONTROL

Apart from eradicating termites that have nested in our environment, control and prevention measures also need to be taken. Methods that can be taken include wood preservation, termite baiting and soil treatment.

BAITING GEL

Baiting gel can be used to control cockroaches or ant pests. The poison bait used has domino effect and safe to use in indoor areas (non-food areas).

INJECTION

Pest control is carried out by injecting termiticide into buildings using the drilling method.

BAITING

Baiting is a treatment for controlling termites (post-construction) using poison bait. Installation of bait containers is carried out in areas where active termites are still found.
