BED BUGS LIFE CYCLE
...

Bed bugs are insects that have incomplete metamorphosis, because they only go through the stages of egg, nymph and adult. Female fleas need enough food to lay eggs by sucking mammal blood. A female is capable of producing 150-200 eggs during their lifetime. During the egg-laying season which ranges from 2-10 months, female fleas can produce 2-5 eggs every day. The eggs are laid in narrow gaps such as cracks in walls, cracks in places bed and mattress. The size of the egg is approximately 1mm, broken white in color and has an operculum (outer protector). After 6-10 days, the eggs hatch and become nymphs which are very small in size and have a morphology like adult fleas. Before becoming an adult flea, the nymph must undergo skin changes approximately 5-6 times. Under appropriate conditions, The adult phase can be reached within 8-13 weeks after the eggs hatch. Adult fleas can live for 6-12 months.
